About Sheikh Al-Attareen
Sheikh Al-Attareen is a regional group specialising in spices, herb blends, natural oils, honey, dates and traditional foods. Our parent company is an Egyptian limited liability company headquartered in Mansoura, Dakahlia Governorate, and we operate through local companies and branches in Egypt, Iraq and Syria.
Who we are
The name Sheikh Al-Attareen means “master of the spice merchants”. We carry forward the know-how of the traditional Arab spice and herb merchant and combine it with modern sourcing, processing and distribution.
We source, grind, blend, pack and distribute our products, and we serve retailers, wholesalers, hotels and restaurants, and export customers.
Our activities
- Spices and herb blends: whole and ground spices, traditional blends and custom recipes for retail and food service.
- Natural and aromatic oils: edible oils, cosmetic oils, essential oils and natural care products.
- Honey and bee products: raw honey, royal jelly, propolis and bee pollen.
- Dates, nuts and sweets: premium dates, dried fruit, nuts, tahini halva and jams.
- Pickles, sauces and pastes: traditional pickles, vinegar, sauces and cooking pastes.
- Incense, oud and home fragrance: bakhoor, oud and home fragrances.
- Food processing and packing: grinding, drying, packing and packaging services for our brands and our partners.
- Agricultural commodities: trading in agricultural commodities, animal feed and beverages.
Where we operate
- Egypt — head office, production and packing in Mansoura; serving the Egyptian market and export customers.
- Iraq — a branch for distribution and sales across Iraq, with local prices in Iraqi dinars.
- Syria — our company in Homs for local distribution and partners.
We are currently establishing our company in the United Arab Emirates as the next step towards serving more Arab markets.
